WEST THIRD—Goldie's isn't just re-doing the bar program, they're reseting the food menu. Chef Thomas Lim is offering more small plates at lunch like burrata with grilled watermelon and avocado on toast. Cocktails are scaled down a bit with $10-12 offerings like Aperol Spritzes and the Golden Girl, made with spiced tequila, passionfruit juice, agave, and lime meringue. [ELA]

SUNSET STRIP—From now until June 30, graduates can get a free steak at Oliver's Prime. Show up with a fresh diploma and score an 18 oz. bone-in ribeye or a 7 oz. filet mignon. Donning the cap and gown never tasted better. [Eaterwire]

DOWNTOWN—Here's more meat for carnivores. Nick & Stef's in Downtown is doing a craft-your-own burger experience starting May 19. From 4 p.m. to close on weekdays at the bar and patio for $18. Think of it like a high-end Counter burger. [ELA]
