On May 17, notable Mexican chefs will be working with an artisan tortilla maker from Hermosillo for a four-way Sonoran grill fest called La Gran Parrillada in Downtown. Curated by taco maestro Bill Esparza, he's arranged to have chefs Javier Plascencia (Mision 19), Dante Ferrero, Carlos Valdez, and Eloy Aluri prepare sample plates of steak along with veggies and tortillas.
