Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

Hollywood nightclub scene gets another major boost when Project Los Angeles debuts on June 10 in the former Roxbury space on Ivar. A production of Project Club London and local booster Boulevard Nightlife Group (Hemingway's Lounge, Supperclub, LURE), the Gensler-designed space will feature a large lit cross, 17 booths, projection screens galore, and a lazer show from the DJ booth. This is the first nightclub venue by the famed international architecture firm.
