SANTA MONICA—Valentino is doing a new $25 four-course "bento box" of dishes presented at the Vin Bar that changes nightly. Called "Il Quadrifolgio," think Apulian salad with burrata, mushroom tortino with saffron fonduta, potato gnocchi with pesto, and rabbit cacciatore. Perfect little bites that would go nicely with some Barolo. [ELA]

AROUND TOWN— Softshell crabs are back, and Thrillist has a nifty list of places to get them around town. Also, Ladies Gunboat Society is rocking a version with sweet corn slaw and more. [Thrillist]

CULVER CITY—A-Frame is launching all-you-can-eat pancakes during weekend brunch for $14 a person. Think buttermilk, condensed milk and honey mango, and chocolate chip, among flavors. Sadly, this means no more of that amazing AYCE fried chicken. [EaterWire]
