Meat District Going Into Xiomara in Old Town Pasadena

The long defunct Xiomara in Old Town Pasadena is turning into a new eatery called Meat District, according to a tipster. The concept seems to be a production of Platinum Restaurant Group, an Australian outfit with numerous locations Down Under. This is their first project in Los Angeles, touting house-cured meats, slow roasted ribs, and a "one of a kind beer selection." A simple Facebook page for the place doesn't show much in the way of other details, but Meat District should be opening within the month. [EaterWire]
