Here are some hard hat photos of Providence's current look, which is basically a war zone. But fear not, the highest rated restaurant in L.A., at least according to Jonathan Gold, will re-open before the month ends on May 28. Just in time for their annual summer tasting menu, which offers 4 courses for $80 during the month of June (call the restaurant to book a table). Quite a bargain for a place of this caliber. The new look will reflect a sort of Art Deco meets ocean liner decor.
Michael Cimarusti is changing up the menu for good, offering three main tasting menus instead of tasting menu plus a la carte dishes, which he feels will allow them to "achieve a higher level of consistency and execution." Fine dining isn't dead yet in Los Angeles.
