Beach Nation Debuts Tomorrow; Rush Street's New Menu

WEST HOLLYWOOD—Beach Nation, that beachside cafe in the heart of WeHo (and nowhere near the water) is opening tomorrow morning at 8 a.m., serving coffee, tea, and Rockenwagner baked goods to the lounge crowd along Santa Monica Blvd. Open until 2 p.m. until June 4, at which point they'll serve until 10 p.m. on weekdays, midnight on weekends. CULVER CITY—Rush Street is boasting a new menu with dishes like shrimp & lobster rolls, ahi tuna burgers, portobello banh mi, and turkey meatballs. The beer menu also get some craftier picks like Dogfish Head 90 Min IPA and Old Rasputin. [ELA]

VENICE—The Lusty Vegan, done by chef Ayinde Howell and Zoe Eisenberg, is doing a pop-up on June 5 at the G2Gallery on 1503 Abbot Kinney with and Ocean & Earth menu. Think balsamic and truffle Mac & Yeast, Filet de Soy with blood orange, and Hearts of Baltimore Crab Cake finished with biscuit strawberry shortcake with vanilla ice cream.
