Rameniacs, take a seat, because this is massive. Weekly LaLaLa, the Japanese language publication that puts together the annual Ramen Festival, is launching their first ever Ramen Week from May 30 to June 5, with crazy half-off specials on bowls of ramen all around town (though mostly in the South Bay). That means a bowl of tsukemen at Tsujita for under $5, or a cold soup ramen from Daikokuya for $4.50. It's hard to imagine the mayhem that this will create but to qualify for the discounts, print out the PDF here. Slurp with abandon, but be sure to read the small print on every coupon to make sure they qualify. Pro tips: Tsujita's serving their discounted usual lunchtime only tsukemen from 2-5PM. Shinsengumi's Yaki Ramen is the cheapest at $3.40.
