Christian Page, who helmed the kitchen at Short Order since its inception nearly three years ago at the Farmer's Market, is stepping away from the burger joint. Founded along with Bill Chait and Nancy Silverton (as well as the late Amy Pressman), Page announced his departure on Instagram (which has since been deleted) with a short, sentimental message: "I'll miss u, but only if I don't see u. Love u. Peace. I'm out." Page is behind the stoves until at least another month, with a special blowout celebration coming soon to mark the end of his tenure.

When asked why he was leaving, Page responded by saying that while he enjoyed his time at Short Order, he wants to move onto other things. Right now, Page is working on developing the pop-up series at the Chandelier Room at Santa Anita throughout the summer. At the moment, no word on who will replace Page.
