Coco Laurent Shutters for Remodel in Downtown

New, 6 comments

Looks like a new concept for Coco Laurent is in the works. The French bistro debuted only a year and a half ago in the heart of Downtown's budding 7th and Grand restaurant district, populated by the likes of Sugarfish and Bottega Louie. However, their mediocre attempt to emulate Bottega Louie's model didn't strike the hearts of Financial District office workers and denizens.

Shuttered last month and briefly operating as a confused Project X, the French-style eatery is currently closed for remodel. According to previous employees, the plan is to transition to a small plates menu. No word on when an official concept will take over, or if there is a change in ownership. —Crystal Coser
