Villetta, the elegant Italian restaurant that occupied the former Chez Mimi beginning in early 2011, closed down without much fanfare on June 13, reports Toddrickallen. However, a source close to the situation tells Eater that the Ago team is taking over the space with hopes for a quick turnaround.

Pippa Calland was the former chef who put together underrated Southern Italian dishes before bowing out six months later. Dylan Hallas eventually helmed the kitchen before leaving as well; eventually the place drifted off of most people's memories. The restaurant had filed for bankruptcy in late 2013.
