District 13 Not Leaving Hollywood After All

Well hold on a second. Details reached Eater about a month ago that Chop Daddy's (née Pork Belly's), the Venice-based quick service BBQ sandwich operation, was taking over District 13 in Hollywood. This, after a pop-up run inside the sausage and burger hall that began in January.

Well, now comes word directly from the long-running District 13 folks that they aren't actually going anywhere. Instead, expect a refresh of sorts, complete with new look and even more gastropub fare. What's happening with Chop Daddy's eastward expansion plans, then?
