Ike's Place Sandwiches Coming to Westwood After All

New, 1 comment

After all the will they / won't they on a potential Ike's Place opening up in Westwood, it seems like the Bay Area sandwich transplant is officially on its way. Late last year, owner Ike Shehadeh took to Facebook to decry a sour business deal between himself and other lease holders of the Westwood Blvd. location, which would apparently result in Shehadeh being cut out completely, and Ike's operating without the support of his menu or vendors.

Now all appears well, as Ike's Place is actively seeking employees over the next several weeks, with an opening to come shortly thereafter. Finally, UCLA'ers can enjoy such outrageous sandwiches as the Captain Kirk, Fat Bastard and Hot Momma Huda. —Farley Elliott
