Livigni and Moix's The Chestnut Club Hitting SaMo

Remember Central, that bar in Santa Monica that Steve Livigni and Pablo Moix (Scopa Italian Roots) took over over a year ago? Well, it's finally gearing up for an opening in a few weeks on the corner of Santa Monica Blvd and 14th.

Named The Chestnut Club, there aren't too many details on the place right now. Yesterday at Taste of the Nation in Culver City, the cocktail duo served two drinks: The Maime Taylor and The Chocker, both based on scotch. More details should emerge on this Instagram account in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Old Lightning, tucked away inside Scopa, still hasn't quite shed its skin. Soon enough.
