Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

Another tidbit garnered from Taste of the Nation yesterday. Ricardo Zarate, who's already built up three restaurants from Picca to Mo-Chica to Paiche, is gearing up to open his more casual rotisserie chicken spot, Suave Rico, in Culver City on the corner of Washington and Sepulveda next to Kimukatsu. According to Zarate, this pollos a la brasa concept is the one he's hoping will eventually multiply into various locations like "fast food." At the moment, the restaurant in currently in construction with an opening projected some time in the next few months.
