Lavender & Honey Offers Brews And Toast

Status: Open June 21

Just a bit more in the way of specialty coffee hits Pasadena, this time in the form of Lavender & Honey, a cute shop on East Washington that opened this past Saturday in Pasadena, reports LA Weekly.

Grinding up Klatch Coffee (a roaster out in Upland) and offering baked goods from Glendale's Berolina Bakery and Poppy Cake Baking in Sierra Madre, the elegant cafe comes from Charlie and Melanie Porter.

In addition to coffee, Lavender & Honey offers sandwiches, toast (a must these days), salads, and hot chocolates, making it an ideal morning escape or afternoon spot to hit with the kids. Free WiFi's another boon for freelancers and laptop warriors in the area. Open 7 a.m. daily, and 8 a.m. on Sundays.
