Caffe Primo is on the move again. The popular West Hollywood coffee shop/gelateria/home for good looking people to eat lunch after working out took to Flower Street downtown a few years back, but now word comes of a brand new location on Santa Monica Blvd. The 5,100 sq. ft. space will help to anchor the new Dillion Luxury Apartments on the corner of La Brea and Santa Monica at the eastern edge of West Hollywood, directly across from Target. Expect a large covered patio for up to 100 diners, and another 100 seats inside.
There will also be wood-fired pizza options, a vertical spit roaster and plenty of quick-service prepared foods, so expect a brisk take out business. And, as usual, a strong bakery operation, pressed juices and espresso drinks will round out the new space. Permitting is currently underway, and construction is set to begin shortly. —Farley Elliott
