Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

Barton G., that long-lost Miami restaurant expansion that was supposed to open on La Cienega a long time ago, is finally gearing up for an opening on June 18. Founded by Barton G. Weiss, the eatery combines a sort of over-the-top experience that only a place like Miami can pull off. The Rose replacement will feature things like ceviche cocktails, liquid nitrogen intoxicants, and other whimsical bites that the glamorous types in WeHo will eat up. Perhaps PUMP Lounge will have some healthy competition.
