New, 5 comments

WEST HOLLYWOOD—Rosa Mexicano's Sunset Strip location is officially dunzo after a nearly three year run, according to WeHoville. According to CEO Tom Dillon, that neighborhood is, "is much more kind of evening entertainment-driven than culinary." He went on to say that there was not enough foot traffic in the area during lunchtime hours or during the early evening. Rosa Mexicano's L.A. Live location, located in one of the most entertainment-heavy areas in the city, is still open. [WeHoville]

STUDIO CITY—Girasol is rocking a new cocktail program from barman Brian Butler, with a unique-ingredient mentality that echoes the one coming from chef C.J. Jacobson's kitchen. Think an apple walnut Old Fashioned and a pine sorrel gimlet. [EaterWire]
