Playa Del Rey's newcomer Playa Provisions is almost whole. The beach-side eatery, has introduced it's newest addition, Dockside, and opened its dining room to the public for the first time last night. The dining room now opens at 5 pm for dinner service, and includes a full service bar.
Described by Chef Brooke Williamson as having "classic staples," and a mix of "seafood/steakhouse fare", the menu will stay generally consistent for the time being, with side dishes eventually rotating seasonally. Think clams casino, salt cod clam chowder, whole steamed dungeness crab, and grilled 16 oz. pork porterhouse.
Grain Whiskey Bar, another concept close to inception, opens on June 7 for drinks, with a food menu added in two weeks. — Keyla Vasconcellos
