Ludo Lefebvre, Jon Shook, and Vinny Dotolo's Petit Trois is essentially done on the inside, and this photo posted on Instagram shows the finishing touches going onto the exterior, which was once a standard-issue Thai restaurant in a strip mall. Though things appear to be ready to go, word just in from the team that things are still a few weeks out. Apparently Ludo and the team, which includes chef de cuisine Sydney Hunter, want to make sure that everything will be ready to go from the start.
In the meantime, Lefebvre has been posting photos on sample menu items: everything from herb butter-filled escargot and frites to creme caramel and chocolate cake for dessert lover. Oh, and thank Shook and Dotolo for Petit Trois' burger, which might come drenched in a pink sauce.
Another interesting tidbit: Petit Trois only has room for four bar stools right now, with no tables in sight. Does this mean standing room only at the Trois Mec-adjacent bistro?
