Aussie Pie Kitchen, Serving Meat Pies Very Soon

Remember how Aussie Pie Kitchen was coming to Main Street in Santa Monica? Well, the owners are working hard to get one last permit and open their doors this month. "Chopped" Champion Joe Youkhan (Tasting Spoon Food Truck) will helm the kitchen. Also, they have partnered with Vittoria Organic Coffee, Australia's popular and premium coffee roaster.

The concept is quite simple: Pick a pie or a roll and add a sauce and a side or two. Pie options include lamb and rosemary, veggie, sausage, bacon or feta and roll options include kale rolls and sausage and cheese rolls. Choose a hot side like sweet potato and mash or a cold side like summer roasted vegetable quinoa.
