HYDE Sunset's Cocktails and Food Menus, Rolling July 20

Here are the menus for HYDE Sunset: Kitchen & Cocktails, debuting on July 20 on the Sunset Strip in the former XIV space looming above Sunset Strip with Top Chef alum Chris Crary (previously of Whist) at the kitchen's command. SBE's newest dining destination looks mighty like the expansive Church Key a few blocks away, though with a bit of a darker spell.

The interior has the same sort of boys club ritz with various found objects and muscular furniture, though the place will likely be an ideal meeting place for all the glamorous types.

The dinner menu itself is quite simple, with a one-sheet menu of things like fried chicken sliders, squid ink linguine, local miso black cod, and steak with curry-spiced fries. In all, an approachable and even reasonably priced affair (the whole menu is below).

As for drinks, try the Love Unit, a fresh sip made with vodka, red bell pepper juice, and fresh basil. Or perhaps the Of Mountains and Men, incorporating cognac, amaro and pine liqueur with some lemon oil. Check out the full cocktail menu below, as well as the beer and wine lists.
