Update: This space on the market per this listing is not, in fact, the Coco Laurent space. Eater LA was wrong to assume it was and apologizes for the error.

Coco Laurent, that grand Bottega Louie wannabe that happened to open right across the street from its greatest idol, is now on the market for $1.5 Million, according to this broker's website. Just last month, the concept switched over the the nebulous Project X, a sort of small plates concept that's now DOA as well, at least on Open Table, where it was recently unlisted. And now, this sales price, which probably goes no where near the actual cost to build out this expansive eatery, which includes a bar, bakery, venue space, and more across three floors (including basement).

The rent's just $18,000, a fraction of what one might pay in say, Culver City, and goes across 20,000 square feet until 2032 (just before the machines take over). So, ever dreamed of owning an iconic restaurant in Downtown? Here's the chance.
