Welcome Field Trip to Hollywood, occupying the Farmer's Kitchen space on Vine Street, just outside where the Sunday farmer's market takes place. Minh Phan (Gaji, Beachwood Cafe) handles the kitchen duties while Sarah Lange (Hart & the Hunter, Ladies Gunboat Society) partners alongside to create a Californian menu with Asian inflections, and even some Amish notes.
While they've been quietly serving pastries and coffee in the morning, the service goes whole hog starting July 27 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday, with brunch, dinner, and high tea in tow. As for plates, think Mexican street corn scones, sausage-stuffed pretzel, flourless double-chocolate and peanut butter cookies. See a sample brunch menu here.
