Modan Ramen, A Slick Ramen Joint in South Pasadena

Even more ramen news today, this time from South Pasadena, the new home of Modan Ramen, a spot that serves its own unique take on ramen and more. Still soft open at the moment and tucked behind the Bristol Farms on Fair Oaks, Modan serves a tidy list of bowls like the Modan Bowl, served with chashu pork in a murky pork broth. There's also a veggie bowl and spicy ramen for acolytes of heat. Throw in other small bites like gyoza, brussels sprouts, and karaage wings, and South Pass has a nice local spot for umami-ridden noodles.
