The Cheese Freezes Over as Juicy Lucy Kills Its Kitchen

Perhaps its part of the overall downward trend away from burgers and oh, the insatiable appetite of cold-pressed juices, but at least one "juicy" spot didn't last: Paul Shoemaker's Juicy Lucy. The former Savory chef turned burger man took on the pride of Minneapolis with this oozing cheese concoction, only to have the lights turn off and the kitchen cleared out last week. FigAt7th has a slew of things to eat now, with City Tavern, Gentaro, Loteria's Torta Co, and The Melt, but Juicy Lucy just didn't seem to garner a solid following despite plenty of blog coverage. A Hamburger Today's Damon Gambuto was not a fan while Yelp reviews were tepid at best.
