McConnell's, Now Scooping and Shaking at GCM

McConnell's Ice Cream, the Santa Barbara ice cream transplant, starts serving Grand Central Market today at 11 a.m., with over a dozen flavors scooped fresh for all who pass by. Said flavors include classics like mint chip, Golden State Vanilla, and Santa Barbara strawberry, as well as Turkish coffee, chocolate almond brittle, and double peanut butter chip. In addition, sundaes, ice cream sandwiches, shakes and floats. Pretty much anything an ice cream lover could want, all in one stall that turned over very quickly.

Seated across from Sticky Rice and next to Wexler's Deli, the lauded creamery is serving scoops for $4.25 for one and $6.50, a small price to pay for sweet bliss. Or for those who want it all, a 3 scoop sampler for $5.50.
