Black Hogg Hits the Reset Button in Silver Lake

Eric Park's Black Hogg is closing down for about two weeks (possibly less) to change up the interior, concept, and menu. The Silver Lake restaurant planned to do this earlier, but with dineLA completely booked up, they had to wait until the two-week bonanza was over. Now the gates are closed up, with crews working inside to switch up the Animal-like, minimalist ambiance. So, what does a spot like Black Hogg do to its interior? Hit any suggestions or guesses in the comments.

In addition, the lunch-time sandwich concept, Sorpressata, will also be closed with a re-opening scheduled after the remodel. Sorpressata's menu will not change from its previous format. Remember also that Black Hogg had closed down for more than a month back in late 2012 for another remodel, though that was to accommodate the beer and wine license.
