After a relatively quiet few years in Westchester, nearby all those college students at Loyola Marymount, Humble Potato is going eastward (slightly) to Culver City, with a planned location just across from the trio of A-Frame, Waterloo & City, and The Corner Door. So, the dining mecca of Culver City continues to grow, with spots like The Detour currently in the works and Gravlax just an earshot away. This location of Humble Potato, also founded by Eric Ong, will boast a 41 beer & wine license, a nice thing to have since all three restaurants across the street have full liquor licenses. Humble Potato specializes in Japanese-style fast food like chicken curry meatball sandwiches and "hambaga," a perfectly balanced burger.
