A Peek Inside Recess, Opening in Highland Park Fall 2014

Here are some renderings of the rather massive Recess, opening along York Blvd right next to The York some time in the Fall of 2014, assuming all the construction stays on time. This sophomore effort by chef Sevan Azarian, whose first spot lives on in Glendale, this Spacecraft-designed place will reflect an old-school cafeteria with an expansive outdoor patio. On the menu, think fresh, modern, organic, you know, the kind of stuff that most restaurant wouldn't dare not cook for Eastsiders. Recess looks to be ahead of schedule as it was originally slated to open in December.
