Welcome Sara The Wine Bar, the second iteration of a popular neighborhood wine bar that was previously hidden away on Jefferson near Playa Vista. Taking over the old Bistro Laurent space (which lived for awhile as an Indian pop-up), the trendy wine bar commenced service some time early last week. Sporting a menu of wine-friendly bites like charcuterie, cheese, caprese, polpettine, lasagna, and scampi diavola, the bites skew toward Italian flavors. Open Monday to Saturday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and until midnight on weekends. Happy hour runs until 7 p.m.
