Fifty's Seven Brunch; RivaBella's $14 Weekday Lunch

DOWNTOWN—Fifty Seven commences brunch service on August 16, with chef Josh Drew producing bites likes rosemary sticky buns, cream of wheat served two ways, griddle cakes with local stone fruit, and eggs in the basket with smoked pork belly. Expect a full complement of house-based pastries, such as the orange blossom brioche, along with full cocktails, wines, juices, and more. The shaded patio makes for nice warm weather noshing as well. WEST HOLLYWOOD—RivaBella is starting a $14 lunch special from Monday to Friday with dishes like porcini mushroom and gorgonzola pizza or cavatelli with broccolini, chile and salmoriglio. DOWNTOWN—Caña Rum Bar's rocking a new menu of tiki-inspired drinks, such as the Cana Colada, a group-sized punch bowl made with the house's Papa Pilar blend, coconut cream, and fresh pineapple. Or try the spicy Season Ticket, made with cayenne pepper-infused El Silencio mezcal, watermelong, cilantro, fresh lime, and sugar.
