It's officially here. After a few delays surrounding their new Spring Arcade space downtown, the third outpost of Guisados is officially open for business. As folks may recall, the Spring Arcade is in the midst of a major overhaul, and hopes to take a page from the Grand Central Market playbook when it comes to luring in great dining options for hungry downtowners, including the long-relocating Royal Clayton's.
Signage went up earlier this month, and now that the build-out is complete, Armando de la Torre and clan will begin the process of snagging a conditional use beer and wine permit.
Meanwhile, expect the same high quality tortillas, stewed meats and horchata, plus the inevitable breakfast options that have begun popping up at the Boyle Heights location lately. They are on our list of 20 taco places to try before you die, after all.—Farley Elliott
