Originally expected to populate the Medallion project on the corner of 4th and Main, Alamo Drafthouse, the theater-cum-restaurant (much like Tanzy and iPic Theaters) is taking over the third floor at The Bloc in Downtown some time in 2015. Formerly the Macy's Plaza, Alamo Drafthouse will boast nine screens showing first run films (all in 4K) while patrons can order food and drinks right to their seat. No word on the actual fare, but the drink menu will feature plenty of California craft beers.
