Long Beach's Big Catch Seafood Docks in Brentwood

Big Catch Seafood, a relatively new and popular Cajun/Creole seafood spot in Long Beach will be coming to West LA. A liquor license was spotted in the Brentwood Place Shopping Center where iSushi used to be. The Cajun style restaurant serves fresh seafood and crawfish paired with chef created sauces.

Think raw oysters, boiled shellfish with Cajun or butter lemon, fried catfish and sea clams, Cajun dirty fried rice with sausage, shrimp and calamari and soft shell crab sandwich. If room is saved, the key lime ice cream sphere with graham cracker crumble and lime sugar looks promising. Not to mention the Long Beach location also has happy hour from 4 p.m to 7 p.m., with oysters for $1.25 individually and beer and wine for $4. Find the menu here.

No word on when Big Catch Seafood will actually open in Brentwood. However, competition lies ahead with The Boiling Crab opening in Westwood. For more info visit their Facebook page. Keyla Vasconcellos
