Michael Voltaggio's Ultra-Cold Ice Bucket Challenge

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

Here's the short and quick ALS Ice Bucket challenge from ink. chef Michael Voltaggio, who had a quick pour of liquid nitrogen mixed into his bucket for an ultra-cold douse of water. In the clip, Voltaggio challenges LA food critics Jonathan Gold, Irene Virbila, Besha Rodell, and Zagat editor (and former Eater LA editor) Lesley Balla to the next challenge. On Twitter, Besha Rodell already responded by opting out and donating both to ALS directly and the Water Education Foundation (in light of California's current drought).
