The legendary House of Blues on the Sunset Strip is part of a slew of places that will be torn down to make room for more luxury hotels, reports Bloomberg. In addition, Larry Flynt's Hustler Hollywood will find the demolition ball heading its way. Investor group AECOM Capital and Combined Properties is planning a 149 hotel room building, along with 40 condos and an entertainment venue. The initial word on this development actually came in 2010, with a proposed 35,000 square foot entertainment space at that time. No word on when the House of Blues will actually close down for demolition.

Update: According to LAist, the House of Blues may or may not relocate within the next three years.
