Say hello to the newest sugar spot on Sawtelle, B Sweet Dessert Bar, founded by Barb Batiste and soft opening to the crowded streets of Little Osaka this Saturday, August 9. While the star of the show is the bread pudding, with up to 20 some flavors of the stuff available every day, the sweetness also revolves around things like cupcakes-in-a-jar, "slutty" brownies, pies, cookies, cobblers, donut ice cream sandwiches (!), and cheesecakes. Basically, everything a sweet tooth cover ever want in her (or his) life.

Also, a fancy milk bar with soy, almond, rice, and of course good ol' cowsmilk, plus coffee and soda. At the moment, hours will only run Thursday to Sunday, with most days commencing at 11 a.m. Sunday's the day for the widest selection, plus an early start time of 8 a.m. (did someone say cinnamon rolls?).
