Fraser's Redbird Conducting Previews Oct 2, More!

Redbird is ready for some preview serving after nearly five years in development in Downtown.

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

DOWNTOWN—Neil Fraser's Redbird, at the Vibiana Rectory, is finally conducting previews starting Oct 2. To pick up tickets to the dinner, which is presented by C-Cap and benefits culinary students, click here.

For $175, get entrance to the cocktail party, tour of the space, and dinner. A bit of steep price to be one of the few early diners at this return, in a sense for Fraser, who's had bld for many years, but shuttered his main restaurant Grace back in 2009. For those wanting something on the simple side, there's a $50 cocktail party only option. [EaterWire]

CULVER CITY—Evan Kleiman and David Lefevre are doing a demo at the New School of Cooking on September 25 to benefit the upcoming Good Food Pie Contest. $75 tickets gets you a demo, tips, pies, wine pairings, and dessert. [ELA]
