New Brunch and Lunch Menus Around Los Angeles

A slew of new brunch and lunch menus at how new restaurants around town, including a newbie wine bar in Venice.

VENICE—The Anchor has a brand-spankin' new brunch menu starting this weekend spearheaded by pastry chef Sarah Green, with bites like biscuits and gravy, croque monsieur, short rib sandwich, whole wheat pancakes, and a lobster benedict. The Westside hotspot commences this new menu on Sunday. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN—Faith & Flower has a nifty new three course lunch for $18 that includes an appetizer (think those great kimchi deviled eggs or little gem salad), a main course of crispy chicken sandwich, open faced trout confit melt, or whole wheat penne pasta, and a chocolate pudding for dessert. It's all designed to accommodate diners who have an hour or less for lunch. [EaterWire]

KOREATOWN—Roy Choi's POT also has a cheaper lunch menu that should accommodate Koreatown lunchers quite nicely starting September 26. Try a kimchi ramen for $9 or smaller version of those famous boiling pots for $9-14. Or opt for the stoned bibimbap, with spicy pork, grilled shrimp, or galbi. [EaterWire]
