Why, Los Angeles, why? It's just Dunkin' Donuts, not the second coming of Dominique Ansel. Yet here's the line at around 10:45 a.m. for the first full Dunkin' Donuts to open in the city of Angels, reports Zach Brooks at Midtown Lunch. While not quite as insane as Ansel's Cronut lines in New York last summer, Angelenos (most likely East Coast transplants) can't wait to get their first taste of watered down coffee and just-about-average donuts in Santa Monica.

Opened this morning at 5 a.m., these folks aren't even getting a free swag bag, which was offered to the first 100 fanatics. Dunkin' is preparing to open 150 outlets in across California in the next few years, with 1,000 units planned long term. So, why is everyone waiting in line again?
