Taco Love Bounces Over From WeHo to Venice's Lincoln Blvd

New, 4 comments

West Hollywood’s Taco Love will arrive in Venice in two weeks. This taco spot serves authentic Mexican flavors found in Tijuana and San Diego.

Taco Love debuted in Los Angeles last year and has become a popular spot, particularly with people who love Mexican food from San Diego. Taco Love's owners come from SBE and Umami and decided that LA needed a good San Diego-style taco place. Taco Love is taking the place of Shane, that café in a strip mall on Lincoln near Wurstkushe, that didn't last very long.

Menu items include carne asada, carnitas, adobada or pollo tacos, and an option to have it made into a burrito. Another option is the Cali Burrito, which includes cheese, sour cream and fries stuffed into it. If one's not feeling the tortilla, the carne asada fries served with cheese, guac and sour cream is a winner. Guzzle it all down with a michelada, sangria or a refreshing agua fresca. Find the menu here.

Taco Love in Venice will be exactly like the one in West Hollywood. Employees say there have been some delays involving city ordinances, but come October, super affordable French-fry stuffed burritos will be served in Venice.
