Women in Food with Kuniko Yagi, Sun Cafe's Brunch, More!

CENTURY CITY Hinoki & the Bird's Kuniko Yagi sits down with LAist to discuss what it's like to be an executive chef in a professional kitchen. In the first installment of the series, Yagi talks about what it was like to work in a high-end kaiseki restaurant in Japan (she wasn't allowed to cook, just observe), and how she started off at Hinoki with a nearly 70% staff of women.
