Le Petit Paris Gearing Up For Debut in Downtown With Nifty Video

Probably the coolest looking restaurant construction video that's been made for a Downtown L.A. spot.

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

Le Petit Paris has been simmering right on Spring Street for what seems like years. The Downtown Historic Core space has an almost cavernous feel, with a small storefront that opens up to a multi-story space. Founded by David and Fanny Rolland, the Cannes, France restaurateurs are opening this second branch with a super cool video posted earlier this year on Youtube. It gets a little weird in some parts (a white Corvette?), but otherwise the camera meanders through the space while it gets built out. It's a fascinating ride with some nice tunes to boot.
