Belcampo's Newest Butchery Will Be On West Third Street

Tucked into a former Baskin Robbins, the sustainable butcher fills the hole that Lindy & Grundy's closure leaves in Mid-City.

Belcampo Meat Company is certainly on the move in L.A., with a marquee location right inside Grand Central Market and another spot in Santa Monica (that's currently being remodeled). Now comes news of a third location on West Third Street slated for early 2015 in the stand-alone location that was once a Baskin-Robbins.

Offering its array of sustainable-grown meats, plus their lauded burger, hot dogs, and paleo breakfast, this location sports its own little parking lot, a boon for the ever-crowded neighborhood. Located next to Sweetgreen, which is also scheduled to open in the first quarter of next year, this one-two punch provides a nice change of pace for this section of West Third. It's also helpful to have a high-quality butcher in the area since Lindy & Grundy bowed last weekend.
