800 Degrees Pasadena Might Be The Most Handsome Pizza Joint in L.A.

New, 5 comments

The quick-serve chainlet opens September 26 in a fantastic historic space in Old Town Pasadena, while a colorful mural comes alive after decades of concealment.

800 Degrees is a chain on the move, with multiple outlets planned across Los Angeles, from Downtown and Hollywood to Playa Vista. But chef Anthony Carron's prolific Neopolitan concept finds its most handsome home inside a former Louise's Trattoria right in the heart of Old Town Pasadena, with a colorful mural painted years ago to reflect a certain Art Deco working man's aesthetic.

In the back, it's a blend of some Art Deco and even post modern aspects, which makes this one of the classiest places to enjoy a sub $8 whole pizza. Heck, with that daily 50% off Instagram deal, it's even possible to get a pie ranging $4-5. Either way, expect a similar array of fresh ingredients topped to order and fired for a minute or so in a wood-fired oven.
