See Classic Hollywood Haunt Palm Restaurant's Murals Before They Go Away Forever

The 40 year old Hollywood haunt is closing its doors September 30, and they're not planning to take the famous celebrity illustrations on the walls to their new Beverly Hills location.

The final days of West Hollywood's iconic Palm Restaurant are upon us, with a September 30 closure coming ahead of its impending re-opening in Beverly Hills' Golden Triangle. However, those famous murals aren't going to the new location. Here is the final look for these classic illustrations, which depict everyone from Steven Spielberg and Alice Cooper to Henry Fonda and the cast of Mad Men.

According to Bruce Bozzi Jr., the great grand-son of the original co-founder, the murals will be carefully taken down and given to their celebrity owners (at least the ones that will take them). Until then, wander around this classic Hollywood haunt (or drop by for a chicken parmesan or NY strip steak) before the restaurant closes. The whole block is slated for demolition and redevelopment, an increasingly common trend in West Hollywood.
