STUDIO CITY Tender Greens opened in Studio City on September 27 with their typical mix of sandwiches, salads, hot plates, and desserts in about 1,000 square feet on 12050 W. Ventura Blvd. The difference at this location is that some of the mushrooms are actually locally foraged, adding a nice element. In addition, chef Roy Arendse adds some rustic Italian, Mediterranean and South African influences to the daily specials. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN Asian Box is opening its second L.A. location on the corner of 5th and Figueroa on October 6 at 5 p.m. with authentic bites by chef Gracie Nguyen, handcrafted drinks, and local artists on display. [EaterWire]

BEVERLY HILLS Fleming's Steakhouse has a new deconstructed 28 oz. Porterhouse that looks amazingly similar to the classic plating at Peter Luger's. Paired with roasted cauliflower and crispy potatoes, it's available for $99 and serves two pretty easily. The deal is only available from October 15 to November 12. [ELA]
