Jessica Biel's Au Fudge, the exclusive kids restaurant on Melrose, has announced that it will be opening some time in Spring 2015According to Instagram, the space is now fully permitted for construction, with an ancitipated build out schedule of four to five months.

Though the initial word was that the organic-focused, Soho House-like establishment would have Vic Casanova (Pistola, Gusto) at the kitchen's helm, the chef decided to amicably part ways with the project, telling People Magazine: "There are no hard feelings on either side, it was just the right decision at this time. He wishes them all the best!"

Why would Casanova step away from a lucrative, potentially fame-inducing opportunity? Well, maybe the public perception of the exclusive eatery is a little less than attractive at this point.

Still, Au Fudge's Instagram does seem to show a rather colorful set of dishes, including rainbow cheesecake, rainbow bread, and even rainbow spaghetti. Because apparently things need to look like breakfast cereal in order for kids to enjoy them.

The 120 seat restaurant will have a separate section for children to "do art projects and other activies," though they're also welcome to join the parents. With a full 47 liquor license, parents can also enjoy a strong cocktail or two while the kids run around making play-doh colored food.
